Stella news - 2 December 2011

posted 2 Dec 2011, 06:40 by Maya Opperman

Hi Everyone,

A quick update on last Saturday’s boat auction is that although we did not have many bidders, we did manage to get rid of most of the useable boats and made more money than we anticipated.

Thank you to everyone who helped on the day and to those who helped by getting rid of the old boats.

We still have a few boats left, so if you need a tripping boat and are prepared to give an old boat some TLC, come and see us at the club and we can sort you out with something that floats.

As for this weekend, please note that the club property are being rented out to the SAP-KZN Fishing and Angling Club ( Bobbies)

They are hosting a Bay Fishing Competition from our club premises and since they pay us good money for the use of the property, which is certainly a welcome relief, please respect them in this regard.

Since many of you will be doing 50 Miler, there may not be many club members going to Stella this weekend, but should you plan a paddle, please bear the fisherman in  mind, as they have full use of the property.

If you have any queries in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

For those doing 50 Miler – Good Luck and have a safe, enjoyable paddle.

Best regards,

Neels Meyer
